ShamRock N’ Fun Run

A run/walk in full Irish spirit!

August 5th @ 10am

We are STILL excited for all the improvements being made to downtown Waterloo! Due to the road and bridge construction in 2023 taking out a significant portion of our 3.1 mile course, the ShamRock N Run will be a 1 Mile Color FunRun in place of our well known 5k! You will be DOWSED with vibrant Irish color and spirit as you make your way along this one mile course looping around beautiful downtown Waterloo! Enjoy a $5 discount by signing up online between now and midnight Thursday, August 3rd! ($5 increase for walk-up registrations). Sign up by Wednesday, July 5th to be guaranteed your choice of shirt size!

Early packet pickup will be at the Scheel’s store in Cedar Falls Wednesday August 2nd 4:30-6:00pm.

Additional early packet pickup and walk-up registration will be near the corner of Park and Mulberry streets, near Main Gate Entrance 1 from 4-7pm on Friday August 4th during the Iowa Irish Fest.

You can also pick up your packet/register from 8:30am-10am Saturday August 5th. The race begins at 10am! This funrun is NOT chip timed and you have 1 hour to complete. Included in your registration is an awesome T-shirt, race bib, race goodie bag, free beer, snacks, and water at the end of the race. Entrance into the Iowa Irish Fest is NOT included with your race registration, but tickets can be purchased at a discount by choosing the Add-On for a 3 day weekend pass into the festival on our registration website.
