Irish singer-songwriter Colm Keegan and his wife, Scottish Cellist Laura Durrant, are best known as principal performers in the world-renowned singing group Celtic Thunder. Joining the group in 2011, they have featured on three Celtic Thunder DVDs and four CDs, the CDs repeatedly rocketing to #1 on the Billboard World Music Chart. Before joining Celtic Thunder, Colm spent a year touring with Celtic Woman, completing two European tours, an Asian Tour, and a five-month North American Tour.
In August 2014, while still performing with the group, he teamed with Celtic Thunder cellist Laura Durrant to embark on his first solo tour, doing shows up and down the east coast of the United States. He also won the 2014 Irish Music Association “Best New Irish Artist.” In late 2016, he released his first solo CD, “I’ll Never Be Alone,” which topped the Amazon and iTunes World Music Charts.
Brian McGrane, keyboard and vocals, is a singer-songwriter from the small Irish town of Navan. Having toured the world extensively over the past 5 years from the 3 Arena in his hometown of Dublin to Radio City in New York. He led the church choir at age 7, formed his own rock band at age 12, and at 22 toured as piano player and backing vocalist for the renowned Celtic Woman. He has produced songs for Connie Talbot (Britain’s Got Talent) and Chloë Agnew (Celtic Woman), while his own music has been widely streamed in Ireland and the States. He is delighted to join forces with his friend Colm Keegan.
Colm & Laura now live in Glasgow, Scotland, with their three young children balancing family life and careers in music, culture and teaching.
With their recent release of their LIVE FROM DUBLIN CD they look back at the last decade, it’s filled with incredible memories of touring with Celtic Thunder, touring as a duo, and beginning our family together. This album is about trying to celebrate all that magic, performing our favorite songs from those years in front of an audience of family and friends.
