The Artist Series and Travel & Tour Workshops will be held in the historic Blacks Building and are free for fest goers with purchase of Iowa Irish Fest weekend passes. Seating is limited.

  • Dublin Song Workshop with Aoife Scott
    Learn songs from the streets of Dublin
    and take a trip around Dublin through song with Aoife Scott and Andy Meaney.

Boxing Banjo
  • Intermediate Bodhrán Drum with Joseph McNulty & Darragh Healy
    Bring your own drum.
  • Group Trad Session Music Workshop
Brother Crowe
  • 5 String Claw Hammer Banjo
    Bring your own banjo or enjoy a demonstration of this instrument.
  • Irish Song Writing
    Participants will help write an Irish song and Brother Crowe will perform the song on stage later in the weekend.

  • Tin Whistle – Beginner/Children
    Tin whistle will be provided to the first 50 participants.

    Ian Gould will take the audience on a journey from Dublin to Belfast.
